HarshMet CST12 series cold shrink tubings are specially formulated pre-stretched silicone rubber based, pre-stretched tubing that does not require heat to shrink. CST12 series tubing is supplied expanded over an easily removable plastic core. When the plastic cord is unwound, it allows the silicone tubing to shrink rapidly to seal and protect the connectors, while gripping tight around the cable. The CST12 series tubing has super high shrink ratio as high as 4:1, and it is extremely resilient, and will seal tight and hold its pressure after aging and exposure. CST12 series tubing holds tight and seals without extra building up materials like foam strips, making it an easier weatherproofing solution.
